In Sweden they sell Oatly sour cream and I couldn’t be happier about it, but I know they don’t sell it everywhere. This is why I created this quick and easy vegan sour cream recipe for you that requires only six ingredients. And I filmed it!
I really like to add this sour cream to Mexican dishes like tacos and wraps, but it’s also really good with toast and in your soup!
Vegan sour cream
Make this tofu vegan sour cream within 2 minutes and the best part is: it only requires six ingredients! It's nut & gluten free as well. Goes super well with Mexican dishes and soup.
- 1 package of silken tofu (300 gram)
- 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Add all ingredients to a blender or mix with a handmixer until smooth.
Adjust to taste.
Serve with your favorite meals. I like it on a wrap, but also in soups.
Keeps well in the fridge for five days, although it's best within three days.
